1. Are there any costs to join or different tier memberships?

   1. No! There is no charge for consumers to join and currently everyone has the same membership level. Our Hexperts that qualify are charged a VERY small fee (as little as $3/month) to be listed ONLY if they qualify. Our services are priced so that qualified people with the right intentions can afford to be included. We want the best and don’t want cost to deter a good fit.

2. If I join, am I going to be hounded with phone calls?

   1. NO. NO. NO!!! We hate spam calls too. We took measures to prevent that. Your contact information is only provided to the Hexpert rated #1 in that zip code selected (Platinum Member). If you choose to review any of the other 10 Hexperts in the area (Gold members) and click on their profile, there will be more information about them along with a button to click for their contact info. Once clicked, then that Hexpert will be provided your contact information as well. Those are the only 2 ways your contact information is distributed.

3. What makes this different from other home buying/selling companies/websites?

   1. Many things separate us from other companies. We really are a first of our kind.

      1. Typically, other companies include ANY professionals willing to pay their fees to be a part of their program. We limit ours to 11 per zip code and ONLY those that score in the top 11 for that area are included in our directory.

      2. Our surveys help “weed out” industry pros who are in it for the wrong reasons and don’t have your best interest at heart.

      3. We require our Hexperts to do what is right or they risk being banned.

      4. We offer professional services for most industries that could be needed for a real estate transaction. Not JUST Real Estate Agents and Mortgage Loan Officers.

4. Why are contractors and other professionals listed? I thought this was a home buying/selling website?

   1. It is! However, what a lot of people might not realize (especially first-time buyers/sellers) is that these other professions are often needed to complete the transaction. For example, some loans require repairs on the subject property prior to qualifying a buyer for a loan. That is something for which you may need a contractor. Another example could be for a seller. They may need storage facilities, movers, a real estate agent, stagers, attorneys, and contractors to get the property sale ready. This website is a one-stop shop for access to top professionals that may be needed for your real estate transactions, or home in general once you do own! Our services don’t stop once you’re in a home!

5. I already bought my home. Is there a benefit to joining?

   1. ABSOLUTELY! Regardless of whether you plan on selling later or not, there are resources, articles, and discounts available to our members. Being a homeowner, you’ll eventually need to repair, replace, or upgrade items in your home. Here we have contractor contacts, insurance agents, landscapers, painters, etc. Every Hexpert is required to offer a discount to our members.

6. Do I receive any discounts using a Hexpert verses getting someone on my own?

   1. YES! Of course you are free to use whomever you want. However, we vet every Hexpert with a survey and monitor them for continued satisfaction so you can feel confident you have the right professional for your needs. In ADDITION, we require every Hexpert to offer a discount ONLY available to our Home Expert Connect Members!

7. Are there any other benefits of joining other than finding a professional to help buy/sell?

   1. There are many other benefits which include:

      1. Access to exclusive discounts/coupons.

      2. Industry news/knowledge/tips to stay informed.

      3. Have a business? Advertise your non-Hexpert business on our page for FREE!!

      4. Ask a Hexpert Section lets you anonymously ask a question to an industry professional(s).

      5. Earn extra money by referring friends and family to our Hexperts. Each offers a referral fee to our members as a thank you for trusting them with whom you may know.

8. What type of questions does your survey ask the professionals?

   1. Those questions do change from time to time. The answers we look for aren’t sales numbers, tenure, or anything like that. Instead, we may ask what a Hexpert would do in a particular situation to get an idea of the Hexpert’s character. Scores showing empathy, ethics, and going above and beyond are given priority.

9. Are there Hexpert reviews by customers (i.e., 5-star rating)?

   1. Yes. We ask any members that have used one of our Hexperts to leave a review. Those reviews are available to you in each profile so you can make an educated decision before deciding on who you’d like to use.
