Are there any costs to join or different tier memberships?
No! There is no charge for consumers to join and currently everyone has the same membership level. Our Hexperts are charged a VERY small fee (as little as $7/month) to be listed. Our services are priced so that qualified people with the right intentions can afford to be included. We want the best and don’t want cost to deter a good fit.
If I join, am I going to be hounded with phone calls?
NO. NO. NO!!! We hate spam calls too. We took measures to prevent that. Your contact information is only provided to the Hexpert ranked #1 in that zip code selected (Platinum Member). If you choose to review any of the other Hexperts in that zip code (up to 3 Gold ranked members per zip along with unrated Hexperts) and click on their profile, there will be more information about them along with a button to click for their contact info. Once clicked, that Hexpert will be provided your contact information as well. Those are the only 2 ways your contact information is distributed.
What makes this different from other home buying/selling companies/websites?
Many things separate us from other companies. We really are a first of our kind.
Typically, other companies include ANY professionals willing to pay their fees to be a part of their program. We only rank the top 4 Hexperts (1 Platinum and 3 Gold) that scored highest in our survey for each zip code and each pay the same low fee to be listed. In other words, the Hexpert list for the zip code is ranked from highest to lowest with the Hexpert that scored the highest on the survey as Platinum with the other 3 ranked Gold. The remaining Hexperts are listed highest scoring to low as well.
Our surveys help “weed out” industry pros who are in it for the wrong reasons and don’t have your best interest at heart.
We require our Hexperts to do what is right or they risk being banned.
We offer professional services for most industries that could be needed for a real estate transaction. Not JUST Real Estate Agents and Mortgage Loan Officers.
Why are contractors and other professionals listed? I thought this was a home buying/selling website?
It is! However, what a lot of people might not realize (especially first-time buyers/sellers) is that these other professions are often needed to complete the transaction. For example, some loans require repairs on the subject property prior to qualifying. That is something for which you may need a contractor. Another example could be for someone looking to sell their home. They may need movers, a real estate agent, stagers, attorneys, and contractors to get the property sale ready. This website is a one-stop shop for access to top professionals that may be needed for your real estate transactions, or home in general once you do own! Our services don’t stop once you’re in your home!
I already bought my home. Is there a benefit to joining?
ABSOLUTELY! Regardless of whether you plan on selling later or not, there are resources, professionals to anonymously ask your questions, and we eventually plan to offer discounts available solely to our members. Being a homeowner, you’ll eventually need to repair, replace, or upgrade items in your home. Here we have contractor contacts, insurance agents, landscapers, painters, etc.
Do I receive any discounts using a Hexpert verses getting someone on my own?
Perhaps. We are here to help ensure you have the best professional for the job you need. While price is a concern, having the wrong person for the job for something as big as real estate can be devasting. Of course you are free to use whomever you want. However, we vet every Hexpert with a survey and monitor them for continued satisfaction so you can feel confident you have the right professional for your needs. We are looking to possibly add member only discounts in the future!

What type of questions does your survey ask the professionals?
Those questions do change from time to time. The answers we look for aren’t sales numbers, tenure, or anything like that. Instead, we may ask what a Hexpert would do in a particular situation to get an idea of the Hexpert’s character. Scores showing empathy, ethics, and going above and beyond are given priority.
